A sneak peek!

We have been continuing to edit our book and get ready for South East Open Studios in June. We had a good day today and photographed an exciting new collaboration which will appear at SEOS. Meanwhile, here is a 'sneak peek'

'Travels in Textile' is up

Our latest collaborative exhibition with Anne's students at Bethany School is up at the Cranbrook Library Gallery. We each have a piece up and they look great alongside the students' work. The exhibition is on until 7 April - please check opening times on the poster below before visiting.

New Year News

We have some exciting news!
We are currently collaborating on a new project - a book called 'Connected Cloth', to be published by Batsford/Anova in autumn 2013. This book looks at collaborations and how cloth connects with people and places.

It will include examples of work by artists with museums, outside spaces and in education, have suggestions for your own collaborative projects and documents our own collaboration 'Resonant Textiles'. It also has plenty of practical guides and examples of work to look at!

The process of writing the book continues to be challenging but rewarding and enables us to put together many different aspects of our practice as artists and educators. It has also provided the opportunity for new points of reference and connection.

These images are a record of some samples we've been working on and may not be included in the book.

We will be exhibiting the next stage of our collaboration. Watch this space for details!
